Canopy Tour, Zip-Lining Upside Down (Costa Rica)

costa rica expertA note from the Publisher: The Costa Rica Blog Network has chosen to feature the following article for its brief and lighthearted suggestion for adding extra adrenaline to the already exhilarating activity of ziplining. Thanks to Meghan for submitting her personal account to us. We hope your husband appreciates your fearlessness and is a more open-minded traveller as a result of it. Pura vida!

Some of the most adventurous activities I’ve ever done were in Costa Rica.  Something about the place just invites stepping out of your comfort zone.  So, when my husband decided to pass up the chance to zip-line upside down (he says he thought the guy was joking) and I, zipping next behind him said yes, this is what he turned around to see.  It was so much fun that he insisted on doing it for the next one–we both did.

About Meghan:
I love traveling, especially abroad. It wasn’t always that way, though. When I first got out of college, I’d barely even left the state I was born in except with the safety of my parents, and when I took a job in New York City (scary enough for me) and they told me to hop a plane for a business meeting in Boston, I almost passed out. I didn’t even know how to hail a cab. Now, after years of business savvy travel and some world wanderings, I want to go everywhere and share my experiences.
